JUSTICE FOR ALL

The Illinois Equal Justice Foundation funds civil legal aid programs across
the state, ensuring that all residents have equal access to the justice system.

These programs build stronger communities and a stronger Illinois.

News You Can Use: E-Filing Good Cause Exemption

Self-represented litigants who lack Internet access, have a disability, or have a language barrier can now obtain a good cause exemption when it comes to e-filing legal documents.  The Illinois Supreme Court recently approved an amendment to Supreme Court Rule 9(c)(4) for a good cause exemption.   Read more about the amendment here.
