Celebrating 20 Years of Improving Lives through Legal Aid

This year, the IL Equal Justice Foundation (IEJF) is celebrating 20 years of improving lives through legal aid. Since 1999, IEJF-funded programs have helped more than 580,000 Illinois residents, including women and children victimized by domestic violence, families facing eviction or foreclosure and veterans denied hard-earned benefits.
The IEJF has been a reliable and trusted partner of the State and now manages three appropriations for civil legal aid.
Over the next few months, we’ll be spotlighting IEJF’s accomplishments and highlighting why IEJF funding is so important to organizations across the state. Stay tuned!
