Allison Zidek is the Finance Director for the Illinois Equal Justice Foundation. In this role, Allison will oversee the financial and operation areas at IEJF, including reviewing the financial reports of grantees.
Allison is passionate about and committed to equity and service to the community. She has over 10 years of experience working with social and economic justice non-profits. Prior to joining IEJF, Allison spent over 2 years as the Senior Manager of Finance, Operations and Human Resources for the National Asian Pacific American Women’s Forum and 8 years with Interfaith Worker Justice as the Accounting and Human Resource Manager. Before her move into the non-profit sector, Allison had a long career as Accounting and IT Manager for a retail organization in Chicago. She has a BA in Accounting from Bradley University and an MBA from DePaul University.
Allison was born, raised in, and continues to live in Skokie, IL with her daughter, Jillian (when she’s home from college) and their adopted dog, Gatsby. She spends her time outside work volunteering on the Vestry (board) and Finance Committee at her church and with many local school and community organizations.
