Viviana Martinez is an accomplished attorney with over ten years dedicated to public service. Viviana has served Cook County by providing legal counsel to its elected officials, staff, and departments. She is currently the lead attorney in Cook County’s Bureau of Administration, which includes the Departments of Animal and Rabies Control, Environment and Sustainability, Emergency Management, Transportation and Highways, Research Operations and Innovation, and the Office of the Medical Examiner. She has also served as a department head/manager, and she has a record of developing robust operations and successfully leading established organizations through periods of rapid and dramatic change.
