Tyrone serves as General Counsel at Doral Renewables LLC, a leading developer and operator of clean energy generation assets. In this role, he leverages his broad experience to provide effective counsel on a wide range of business, legal, administrative, crisis management, and risk management issues.
Tyrone has broad strategic and transactional experience within the renewable energy industry, having most recently served as both Head of Legal at Plus Power, and Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Invenergy. Throughout his career, Tyrone has led diverse teams of professionals in connection with the development, construction, financing and/or divestiture of dozens of utility-scale energy facilities with a total value of over $7 billion. He also has significant expertise managing governance and operational risk.
Tyrone earned a Bachelor of Science in Urban Studies from Hunter College and a Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois College of Law.
He is a passionate anti-hunger advocate, serving on the board of Beyond Hunger, which provides hunger-relief programming and services to 13 zip codes across Cook County. Tyrone also founded the initiative Conversations for Six, which facilitates conversations on food insecurity.
