Suheily Natal Davis is Senior Director, Global Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at McDonald’s Corporation.  In this role, she partners with the McDonald’s U.S. leadership team to drive strategic diversity initiatives. Suheily has been with McDonald’s since 2014. Prior to joining McDonald’s Suheily represented management in labor and employment matters in the Chicago office of Ford Harrison LLP. In that role she handled litigation involving allegations of sexual harassment, disability discrimination, FMLA violations, race and national origin discrimination, wrongful discharge and violation of wage and hour and wage payment laws.

As an attorney with a passion for encouraging inclusion, fostering mentoring relationships, and having candid conversations on race, class and gender, Suheily has taken leadership roles in several legal organizations aimed specifically at increasing the meaningful retention and participation of women of color in the legal profession.  Suheily previously held leadership roles with both the Puerto Rican Bar Association of Chicago and the Black Women Lawyers’ Association of Greater Chicago.  In addition to the Illinois Equal Justice Foundation, Suheily currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Diverse Attorney Pipeline Program and the National Employment Law Council.  She also recently served on the associate board of CARPLS, Cook County’s largest provider of free legal aid.

Outside of the law Suheily sits on the Leadership Council of the College of Media at the University of Illinois where she received her undergraduate degree in Journalism.    Suheily and her husband also keep busy with their own not-for-profit, The Perfect Cadence, which provides support for Chicago-area families expecting babies and experiencing a need.
