Kendric Cobb leads the Global People Practice Group for Kellanova (NYSE: K), a leader in global snacking, international cereal and noodles, and North America frozen powered by beloved brands including Pringles®, Cheez-It®, Pop-Tarts®, Kellogg’s Rice Krispies Treats®, RXBAR®, Eggo®, MorningStar Farms®, Special K®, Coco Pops®, and more. In this role, Kendric reports to the Chief Legal Officer and manages the Ethics & Compliance program, leads the Employment and Labor Law practice, and sits on the Legal & Compliance Department leadership team.
Kendric joined Kellanova (formerly Kellogg Company) from AbbVie in 2023 where he was responsible for global employment and labor counseling supporting the R&D, Finance, IT, External Affairs, Legal, and Commercial (sales) teams. Kendric previously spent six years managing Compliance, Labor, and Employment at Morton Salt reporting to the General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer. At Morton Salt, Kendric led a team of professionals in revitalizing the compliance program, implementing third-party due diligence, and ensuring compliance with labor and employment laws throughout North and South America.
Kendric began his in-house legal career in 2008 as a member of the Litigation, Labor, and Employment Section of Caterpillar’s Legal Services Division, managing a wide range of employment, product, commercial, insurance coverage, and mass tort litigation while providing advice and counsel on all areas of employment law in jurisdictions around the world.
Kendric began practicing law as an Associate Attorney in the Chicago offices of three law firms: Winston & Strawn, Butler Rubin (now the Chicago office of Porter Wright), and Reed Smith. Kendric is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (A.B. Communications and Sociology) and the University of Illinois College of Law (Juris Doctor).
