 JUSTICE FOR ALL

The Illinois Equal Justice Foundation funds civil legal aid programs across
the state, ensuring that all residents have equal access to the justice system.

These programs build stronger communities and a stronger Illinois.

News You Can Use: Westside Justice Center

IEJF grantee Westside Justice Center is a nonprofit legal services and legal education organization.  Among other services, they help residents with property tax issues and  navigating the homeowner system.  The East Garfield Park center was tapped to administer a $150,000 loan fund announced by politicians decrying a new state law that chopped a 12-month grace period for property tax payment to eight months.
